Full Time Senior Technical Implementation Consultant
Herndon, Virginia

Full Description:

Privia is looking for a full time Senior Technical Implementation Consultant. Responsibilities of this position include configuring and demonstrating two different software solutions, organizing and leading training sessions, and implementing software solutions for small to large scale clients. This candidate must have excellent people skills, organizational ability, an aptitude for learning to configure workflow-driven (BPM) software (though no coding is required), excellent communication, and customer management skills in order to maintain positive customer relations. This candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and adjust to shifting often between the roles described above.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with 3+ years of customer facing projects or a client support role.  Vacation, Holidays, and medical benefits are provided.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead successful customer software implementations from start to finish.
  • Assess/evaluate customer requirements and advise customers on implementation best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and varying projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Configure the applications based on company best practices and customer implementation plan. (This does not require knowledge of any development language, though some experience with coding may prove helpful.)
  • Software configuration troubleshooting; detecting potential issues and implementing solutions or workarounds when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations.
  • Responsible for documenting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) instructions for all ongoing business and transitioning the project to the Production Support team where appropriate.
  • Responsible for participating in internal projects as needed.
  • Works with customers and may need to travel on-site to meetings.
  • Ability to command a group of individuals in a room quickly and be assertive in a public environment.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a team and individually.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing projects or a customer support role
  • Degree in Business or Liberal Arts preferred
  • Experience in Proposal Writing desirable
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, and Visio) experience preferred

Full Description:

We are seeking a full time highly skilled Senior or Principal ASP.NET/C#/C++/COM developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high performance web and native applications on Microsoft technologies. The developer will perform analysis, requirements, design, development, and implementation tasks as well as provide support for enterprise class of applications.

The candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and must be able to work locally in our Herndon, VA office.

Education:

Inside Sales Representative
Washington, DC Metro Area

Privia, with offices in Herndon, VA seeks a full-time Inside Sales Development Representative to support our Account Managers’ efforts by qualifying prospects and driving new business. We offer a SaaS (software as a service solution) for large and small systems Integrators to assist them in bidding and winning more government contracts. Additionally, Privia offers a team of proposal managers, volume leads, technical writers and editors, and production leads to augment any proposal staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calling prospects for Privia’s Small Business solution to determine interest level and need
  • Responding to incoming sales calls and product demo requests
  • Following up on leads from marketing campaigns and events
  • Scheduling qualified sales meeting for the sales reps
  • Contacting existing customers to update CRM
  • Conducting software demonstrations usually over web meeting
  • Opportunity to learn and assist with software implementations
  • Limited travel to client sites and trade shows (<5%)

Volume Lead/Book Boss

The Volume Lead/Book Boss manages select proposal volumes (Technical, Management, Past Performance, Price) while working with and reporting to the proposal manager of a procurement team. VLs work directly with authors to ensure content is compliant, responsive, and compelling, and that claims are substantiated. They assist with the solicitation outline, graphics development, write portions of the content of a response and track status while adhering to a strict schedule. Volume Leads concentrate on a specific area of a response such as Technical, Management, Past Performance or Price. At minimum, a Volume Lead should possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in federal, state, local, and commercial procurements
  • Thorough understanding of industry best practices in proposal management
    Experience managing volumes with team members scattered across multiple locations
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Software experience to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and a technical understanding of document management software
  • The ability to use standard English writing styles and structures to write and edit proposal sections; this includes the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals) into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product
  • The ability to work non-standard hours, and adapt to various people and working styles under tight deadlines
  • Able to travel for long periods of time (2 weeks minimum)
  • Department of Defense and/or military procurement experience preferred
  • Security clearance desired but not necessary
