Marketing Assistant
Herndon, VA

Job Summary

The Marketing Assistant supports the execution of strategic marketing and sales campaigns and programs. This part-time position will support a variety of projects including social media, lead qualification, email marketing, marketing collateral, and web content, as well as assist the marketing and sales team with presentations, conferences and events. It is an excellent opportunity to leverage creativity skills in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

Content & Copywriting: Assist in the development of copy for various marketing communications such as ad campaigns, blogs, product and sales collateral, press releases, PR news articles, training videos, website, etc.

Events: Oversee logistics and registration for online and in-person events, research and recommend external events and sponsorships to the management team, promote attendance at company events, including product webinars, and create post-event reports and assessments.

Social Media: Assist in the management and content development of Privia’s various social and online marketing tools, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Yahoo and Google AdWords

General: Collaborate with sales and marketing team members and other departments for campaign development and execution Assist the management team and support special marketing projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Associate Degree or higher in related discipline or 2 years’ marketing experience
  • Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and social media platforms
  • Privia, SpringCM, Salesforce and HubSpot proficiency a plus
  • Familiarity with federal government system integrators is a plus
  • Self-starter with ability to work well within a team environment

Senior Software Developer
Herndon, Virginia

Full Description:

We are seeking a full time highly skilled Senior or Principal ASP.NET/C#/C++/COM developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high performance web and native applications on Microsoft technologies. The developer will perform analysis, requirements, design, development, and implementation tasks as well as provide support for enterprise class of applications.

The candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and must be able to work locally in our Herndon, VA office.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Related area is preferred.

  • Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, C++, COM, SQL Server, XML,

Inside Sales Representative
Washington, DC Metro Area

Privia, with offices in Herndon, VA seeks a full-time Inside Sales Development Representative to support our Account Managers’ efforts by qualifying prospects and driving new business. We offer a SaaS (software as a service solution) for large and small systems Integrators to assist them in bidding and winning more government contracts. Additionally, Privia offers a team of proposal managers, volume leads, technical writers and editors, and production leads to augment any proposal staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calling prospects for Privia’s Small Business solution to determine interest level and need
  • Responding to incoming sales calls and product demo requests
  • Following up on leads from marketing campaigns and events
  • Scheduling qualified sales meeting for the sales reps
  • Contacting existing customers to update CRM
  • Conducting software demonstrations usually over web meeting
  • Opportunity to learn and assist with software implementations
  • Limited travel to client sites and trade shows (<5%)

Place of performance is Privia’s headquarters office in Herndon, VA.  Office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM. No relocation assistance provided.

Experience/Skills:

Volume Lead/Book Boss

The Volume Lead/Book Boss manages select proposal volumes (Technical, Management, Past Performance, Price) while working with and reporting to the proposal manager of a procurement team. VLs work directly with authors to ensure content is compliant, responsive, and compelling, and that claims are substantiated. They assist with the solicitation outline, graphics development, write portions of the content of a response and track status while adhering to a strict schedule. Volume Leads concentrate on a specific area of a response such as Technical, Management, Past Performance or Price. At minimum, a Volume Lead should possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in federal, state, local, and commercial procurements
  • Thorough understanding of industry best practices in proposal management
    Experience managing volumes with team members scattered across multiple locations
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Software experience to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and a technical understanding of document management software
  • The ability to use standard English writing styles and structures to write and edit proposal sections; this includes the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources (subject matter experts, previous proposals) into a cohesive, easy-to-read, and persuasive final product
  • The ability to work non-standard hours, and adapt to various people and working styles under tight deadlines
  • Able to travel for long periods of time (2 weeks minimum)
  • Department of Defense and/or military procurement experience preferred
  • Security clearance desired but not necessary
