Herndon, VA – November 7, 2019. Privia, the industry-leading capture and proposal management solution in the government contractor market, is keeping pace with the General Services Administration’s (GSA) transition from FedBizOpps.gov (FBO.gov) to System for Award Management (SAM.gov). Currently in Beta, SAM.gov will ultimately consolidate 10 procurement award sites into a single information portal, and the Privia team is busy assessing and testing the impact on their mission-critical Toolbar “import” feature to prepare clients for the transition.

The GSA announced that FedBizOpps.gov (FBO.gov) will begin to be decommissioned and its functionality transitioned into beta.SAM.gov starting on November 8, 2019. In order to transition roles from FBO.gov to beta.SAM.gov, active users will need to create a new account in beta.SAM.gov. For Privia’s 10,000+ users this means a necessary, yet seamless, software update once SAM.gov is finalized.

Changes to the beta.SAM.Gov site continue to happen frequently, so we will release our interface after full testing is completed and after the SAM.gov site is final.”
